    Description

The course provides comprehensive Musical Theatre tuition with each week’s 3-hour session split into three 55 minute sections incorporating singing, dancing and acting.

At each stage students develop skills appropriate to age and experience. Learning is rooted in the ensemble approach in all three disciplines of singing, dancing and acting with a focus on developing each student as an individual performer. Students are introduced to excellent training techniques taught in accredited performance arts colleges and these become more advanced at each stage.

As a guide, the acting classes follow a similar content to the drama classes with the added element of musical theatre training such as acting through song. The dance and voice classes are tailored to the age of the students and offer great opportunities for students to develop strong individua skills in vocal and physical expression.

A broad range of material is explored, taken from the very best of American and British musicals, past and present. The end of year showcase musical productions are specially selected for each PA stage.
